A Major Text Exclusion alert appears when most of a document is made up of text inside quotation marks. This alert helps flag cases where the majority of the content has been excluded from the plagiarism scan because it has been identified as quoted material.
This usually occurs when the scan setting "Omit Quotes" is enabled. If more than 90% of the submitted document is contained within quotation marks, the system recognises that almost the entire text has been excluded and triggers the alert.
This does not necessarily mean there's a problem with your document - it's simply a notice to check whether such a high proportion of quoted material is intentional. You may want to review your settings or ensure that your document contains enough original writing for a meaningful scan.
