What is the internal database?

The internal database is an optional feature that allows you to scan your work against a collection of millions of user-submitted documents. You can choose to include this resource when uploading a file for a plagiarism scan.

Opting in means your content will be securely stored in our data hub so that future users can compare their scans against it.

Please note: no personal data is ever visible to others.

If you choose this option and later decide that you want your scanned essays removed from the hub, simply contact our support team. We will permanently delete all essays you have scanned up to that point, and there is no charge for doing so.
