Cross-language detection allows you to check your document for similar content written in other languages, not just the language of your original text. Your document must be written in one of the supported languages: Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, or Spanish.

If your document is in a language that isn't supported, you'll see an alert before the scan begins.

This feature lets you compare your work against material translated from more than 30 languages. For example, an English document can be scanned to detect matches that may have originated in Spanish.

When starting a scan, you can select an additional language to include in your results. The list of supported languages appears on the right-hand side of your screen.

Please note: each additional language selected will increase the number of credits required for the scan. For example, checking a document for both plagiarism and AI content, while also running a cross-language check from Spanish to English, will use 2 credits per 250 words instead of 1 credit per 250 words.
