How to delete your document scan from Viper

When you scan a file for free with Viper, the work is added to a queue for publishing. This means that after three months, the work is published as a study aid on one of our external sites. You can read more about this in our help article: What does Viper do with your free scan work? and our Terms and Conditions.

If you want your work to be removed from the publishing queue, you can upgrade your free scan to a premium one: you can read more about this here.

Alternatively, you can submit a request to our team and we will remove your work from the publishing queue for you. Please be aware that there is a £5 admin fee for deleting or removing the documents. In your message, you must include:

  • The email address you signed up with
  • The number of documents you want to be removed
  • The file name(s) of the document(s) you want to be removed

We aim to reply to all messages as soon as possible, and typically respond within 24 hours.

If you purchased credits and used these to scan your work, then you don’t need to worry about your work being published! Work scanned using Viper Premium is held in a separate database, ensuring it will never be published. If you want to remove this work, all you need to do is select the archive button which is in the top right-hand corner of your scan results.
