What is a credit in my Viper account?

One credit will allow you to scan a document of 30,000 characters (including spaces) once. The larger a document is, the more credits it will require to undertake the scan.

You can see how many credits you have when you are signed in: this is in the top right-hand corner of the screen, and you can view your transaction history by selecting your name in the right-hand corner and clicking ‘billing’. You use your credits whenever you complete a scan and will be told how many credits your document will cost, which you’ll need to confirm to begin the scan.

Purchasing credits

Credits can be purchased in GBP, USD, EUR, AUD and CAD and are used to pay for premium scans. You can purchase credits with your card or PayPal. Credits can be purchased in our pricing page, and in several places whilst you are signed in.

If you have issues when making a payment, please contact our support team. We will respond as quickly as possible to your message. Please include information regarding the error message you received, the payment method you’re using and what country you are purchasing credits from.

Signed in

If you are signed in to Viper, you can purchase credits by selecting the ‘buy credits’ button, which is on the left-hand side of the screen and at the top of the page. You can also purchase credits by selecting your name in the top right-hand corner of the page and clicking on ‘Billing’. If you don’t currently have any credits, but you attempt to begin a scan, an option to purchase credits will also be given to you there.

Once you have clicked one of the buy credits buttons, a pop-up will appear on the screen; this will allow you to select how many credits you would like to purchase. You may then choose whether you would like to pay by card or PayPal and follow the payment instructions given to you.
